How to play word search
- Look at the word list next to (or below) the grid.
- Find a word hidden in the letters. Words can run across, down or diagonally.
- Press and drag from the first letter to the last letter of the word. On a phone, simply slide your finger.
- When you find a correct word, it is highlighted in colour and crossed off the list.
- Find every word to complete the puzzle!
Easy or Hard?
- Easy: a 10×10 grid with 8 words. Words run left to right, top to bottom, or diagonally down – ideal for beginners and relaxing play.
- Hard: a 13×13 grid with 12 words that can run in all eight directions, including backwards. A satisfying challenge for experienced puzzlers.
Word search tips
- Look for unusual letters. Letters like K, V, W or Y are less common, so they are easier to spot.
- Start with long words. Long words cover more of the grid and are often easier to find.
- Scan one row at a time. Move your eyes slowly across each row, then each column.
- Remember backwards words on Hard mode – try reading lines from right to left.
- Use a Hint if you are stuck. It gently highlights the first letter of a hidden word.
