Free online maths games: Quick Maths question 2 x 6 with four answer choices and streak bonus

These maths maths games turn mental arithmetic into a fast, friendly challenge. Every round is short, so you can play one game during a break or keep going to beat your best score. The questions are made fresh each time, so no two games are ever the same.

The levels grow with you. Easy uses small adding, taking away and simple times tables. Medium adds two-digit sums, all the times tables up to 12 and division. Hard brings three-digit numbers and bigger multiplication that will test even confident adults.

The three maths games

1. Quick Maths

You have 60 seconds to answer as many sums as you can. Each question has four answers – tap the right one. Every correct answer scores 10 points. Answer 5 in a row for double points and 10 in a row for triple points. A wrong answer resets your streak and costs 2 seconds, so think fast but stay careful.

2. Times Tables

Choose any times table from 2 to 12, or pick Mixed for a random set. Answer all 12 questions as fast as you can. There is no countdown here, so it is perfect for calm practice. Your best result for every table is saved, so you can see yourself improve.

3. True or False

True or False maths game showing the sum 92 - 56 = 26 with True and False buttons

A sum appears with an answer – is it right or wrong? Tap True or False before time runs out. It sounds easy, but the wrong answers are very close to the real ones, so you have to really check the numbers. It is a brilliant game for sharpening attention and number sense.

How to play

  1. Choose a game from the tabs at the top: Quick Maths, Times Tables or True or False.
  2. Pick your level (Easy, Medium or Hard) or choose a times table.
  3. Press Start game and answer each question by tapping the right button.
  4. On a computer you can also use the keyboard: keys 1 to 4 for answers, and T or F in True or False.
  5. At the end you will see your score, accuracy, best streak and up to three stars.

Why maths games are good for your brain

Regular mental maths practice builds speed, accuracy and confidence with numbers. Short, timed games train you to recall number facts automatically, which makes everyday tasks easier – from working out a bill to checking a discount while shopping. For children, games make practice feel like play rather than homework. For adults, a quick round is a fun daily brain workout that keeps the mind sharp.

Tips to get a higher score

  • Learn your times tables first. Use the Times Tables game until each table feels easy.
  • Protect your streak. Bonus points grow fast, so one careful second is better than a quick mistake.
  • Round and adjust. For 49 + 36, think 50 + 36 = 86, then take away 1 to get 85.
  • Check the last digit. In True or False, the last digit often tells you instantly if a sum is wrong.
  • Play little and often. Five minutes a day helps more than one long session a week.

Great for kids, classrooms and adults

Parents can use these maths games for quick daily practice at home. Teachers can use them as a warm-up on a classroom screen, with the class shouting "true" or "false" together. Adults can play the Hard level to keep their mental arithmetic in shape. Because there are no accounts and nothing to install, it is simple to use anywhere.
