Color Sort is a peaceful ball sort puzzle that gently exercises your mind. Each level starts with mixed-up coloured balls and a couple of empty tubes. Your task is simple: sort them so that each tube contains four balls of the same colour.
The first levels are short and relaxing. As you progress, new colours and extra tubes are added, so the puzzles become a little more thoughtful – but never stressful. There is no clock and no limit on moves, so you can take your time and enjoy every solution.
How to play
- Tap or click a tube to pick up its top ball. The ball lifts up so you can see what you selected.
- Tap another tube to drop the ball there.
- You can only place a ball on top of the same colour, or into an empty tube.
- Each tube holds a maximum of four balls.
- When every tube is filled with a single colour, the level is complete. Press Next level to continue.
Made a mistake? Press Undo to take back your last move as many times as you like, or Restart to try the level again from the beginning.
Tips and strategy
- Keep an empty tube free for as long as possible. Empty tubes are your most valuable space.
- Look before you move. Check which colours are near the top of each tube and plan two or three moves ahead.
- Build one colour at a time. Once a tube has a single colour at the bottom, try to complete it before starting another.
- Avoid burying colours. Placing a ball on a tube where it blocks a nearly finished colour often creates extra work later.
- Use Undo freely. Experimenting is part of the fun – there is no penalty.
